However, Gen Z’s commitment to equity transcends racial boundaries. They champion fairness and equality in all spheres of life, including LGBTQ+ rights.
Notably, they boast the highest proportion of non-binary or third-gender individuals among any generation. A 2023 survey revealed that over one in five U.S. Gen Z adults identifies as LGBTQ+, underscoring their dedication to fighting for equality across diverse identities.
In essence, Generation Z emerges as a beacon for social justice, advocating for racial equity and equal rights for all marginalized communities.
