Our Expert Writers Know how to Best Structure your Essay!

Every essay has three parts that are an introduction, the main body and a conclusion. The introduction consists of the overview of the main points, a thesis statement and it has to have a compelling start. The main body is one of the most important parts of an essay as it consists of arguments backed by facts and figures. It consists of one paragraph for a short essay and three paragraphs for a standard essay. In this article we will consider a standard essay that comprises three paragraphs. Lastly, a conclusion is written to wrap up the whole essay in a single paragraph. It consists of suggestions or solutions to a problem and a brief summary of the most important parts of an essay and restatement of thesis from the introduction as to remind the readers about the main theme of an essay. The purpose of this article is to provide you some useful steps as to write the main body of an essay. Below are some very useful tips for you to consider.

Write stand-along paragraphs

You have three paragraphs to write for a standard essay. Each paragraph has to be independent and stand-alone in a way as to support the main theme of the essay by writing a thesis statement. Provide relevant arguments supporting your stance through evidence in form of facts and figures researched from an authentic source.

Use transitions

At the end of each paragraph use transitory sentences leading to the next paragraph as to make the flow of your essay coherent. Without using transitions your essay will lack coherence and your reader may not find it that much interesting to read.

Be direct and precise

No one likes reading something that is too wordy in an irrelevant way. In other words try to avoid getting off the track by discussing things that are not relevant to the main theme of the essay. Keep your essay direct and precise in a way as to make it more relevant by providing arguments accordingly.
